Zambezi-Okavango Safari - DAY 1
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia
Today you fly to Victoria Falls and meet our local guide, Mortimer who transfers you the short distance to your accommodation either in the leafy residential area of town and within earshot of the roar coming from Mosi-oa-Tunya, “The Smoke that Thunders” (528 Victoria Falls) or overlooking a busy waterhole on the fringes of Zambezi National Park (Victoria Falls Safari Club). Upon checking-in, Mortimer is available to discuss your stay in Victoria Falls and make any arrangements you may require.
There are daily flights direct to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwean side of the falls) and/or Livingstone (Zambian side of the falls) from Addis Ababa, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Kruger-Nelspruit, Nairobi, and Windhoek.
The town of Victoria Falls – just minutes from the falls and on the fringes of the Zambezi National Park – is a bustling hive of activity and although home to a seemingly endless variety of adventure sports, “Vic Falls” – as the town is called – still has a pioneering and colonial atmosphere.

Zambezi-Okavango Safari - DAY 3
Okavango Delta, Botswana
This morning Mortimer transfers you to Kasane Airport in Botswana for your flight into the wild expanse of the Okavango Delta. The flight travels in a light aircraft deep into the delta’s floodplains and is part of a daily route that often stops at a number of bush airstrips to deliver/collect other travelers. Upon arrival you are greeted by your camp guide who provides a game drive to the camp. After a late lunch and freshen-up, you embark on an afternoon/evening game drive.
One of the world’s last true wildernesses, the Okavango Delta consists of some 6,000km² (2,300mi²) of permanent swamp and 12,000km² (4,600mi²) of seasonal swamp, and the resulting mosaic of channels, islands, lagoons, and forests supports a wealth of wildlife. Each year the waters flood, usually between May and September, before receding again.

Zambezi-Okavango Safari - DAY 4
Okavango Delta, Botswana
You stay here for two nights immersed in the absolute serenity of one of the world’s last true wildernesses. After evenings backed by a chorus of night time sounds in the African bush, your days include some or all of the following (depending on your choice of camp): game drives (day and evening), bush walks and water-based game viewing by mokoro and motorised boat. You may also be able to try a spot of fishing and visit a local village, or you might prefer to relax by the pool and enjoy the expansive views from your tented suite. You can also enjoy an open-sided helicopter flight over the delta (At additional cost).
We prefer to accommodate our travellers in camps that are located in the private reserves adjoining the Moremi Game Reserve national park. These reserves are called ‘concessions’ and staying here means not being bound by the rules and regulations of the national park, resulting in your camp being able to offer activities that are not allowed within the national park. The concessions are not open to regular park visitors, ensuring an exclusive and intimate safari experience.

There are daily flights from Maun to South Africa (Cape Town and Johannesburg) as well as thrice-weekly flights to Namibia (Windhoek).
